Our story
From developer to atelier
For twenty years Cattenburg Vastgoed has transformed townhouses, upper-floor apartments and listed buildings in The Hague into sustainable luxury homes. Increasingly we heard the same question from buyers, neighbours and entrepreneurs: can you do this for our property too, and can it be faster?
The answer is Enfilade. A team in which architects, interior architects, project directors and craftsmen are employed and artists are permanent partners. That allows us to do what a separate architect, contractor and stylist cannot do together: design, build and enrich a complete high-end renovation in 60 working days.
We work on homes, commercial properties and hospitality venues with a project size from € 100,000. Not because luxury has to be expensive, but because only at that scale can our team make the difference you may expect from us. And because we stay after handover, we choose our clients as carefully as they choose us.
The team
Six disciplines, one table

Architects
Spatial design, structure, permits and construction management. Our architects do not only draw, they carry responsibility for execution up to handover.

Interior architects
Material, light, colour, acoustics and bespoke work. They translate the way you live or work into an interior that feels self-evident.

Artists
Painters, sculptors, ceramicists, textile and light artists from our network. They create work that exists only in your property and contribute from the first sketch.

Project directors
One point of contact per project, also after handover. They safeguard planning, budget and quality, report weekly and remain your permanent contact.

Craftsmen
Carpenters, plasterers, stonemasons, installers and painters who work exclusively for the atelier and know each other's pace.

Partners
Structural engineers, thatchers, restoration specialists and garden architects with whom we have worked for years, for briefs that require specialist knowledge.

A completion date is a promise and a handover is a beginning. We remain available, forever.
Aftercare visit after 14 days
Two weeks after handover we walk through the property together. Anything that stands out, we resolve immediately.
Checks after 3, 6 and 12 months
Tuning of climate and lighting, settling of materials, operation of bespoke work: we check and correct.
Annual inspection and maintenance plan
Every year an inspection of stone, wood, installations and art, with a tailored maintenance calendar.
